Then becoming a Giraffe Toys agent may be the ideal answer for you. You may only have a few hours free a week, or want a full-time career change. You choose the hours to work whenever you want around your other commitments. No experience is necessary and there are no sales targets to meet. We can provide you with support and guidance at setting up and running your own business.
You choose where and how much you want to work, whether it be your local playgroups and coffee mornings, or exhibiting at fairs fetes and baby shows, or just selling to your friends and family.
How do you earn your profit/commission?
You could start by holding a party or a coffee morning in your own home. Invite a few friends, family, neighbours and work colleagues. Show them the products and encourage them to buy from you. We are confident that the Giraffe Toys products will sell themselves. At the event you could ask your friends to host a party for their own friends and your party plan business grows from there as you sell toys at each event and book more parties. You will then start to develop your own customer base.
In every area there are many events running and you can choose as many as you wish - how about school Christmas Fayres, summer fetes, charity events and many more......
Your customers can also buy directly from the Giraffe Toys website and you will still earn commission.
How much will it cost to get me started?
You simply choose which starter pack you wish to purchase. The Silver pack costs £75 and contains over £110 worth of products and stationary. The Gold pack costs £125 and contains over £175 worth of products and stationary. You will have no further financial commitment and all we would ask is that you sell the products for not less than the price quoted on the Giraffe Toys website. Plus we have just introduced a new Bronze Starter pack for only £35 to help you start your own business with minimal initial outlay.
How much will I earn?
Your customers pay you for the toys when they order. You can either sell them toys from your starter pack or order from us. On each order you will sign in as a Giraffe Toys party plan consultant and will be charged 80% of the Giraffe Toys retail price. You can then keep the difference between that 80% and the price paid to you by your customer. For example, if you place an order for £300, you will be charged £240 and will earn the £60 as commission/payment.
Is there a minimum order value?
There is no minimum order value. However, if you order less than £75 from us we will need to make our standard charge for delivery. We do not charge for delivery on our Business Starter Packs.
Do I need to know lots of people or have sales experience?
No, just start with holding a home party or booking a few local events and your business will grow from there. If you know a few friends, neighbours and work colleagues you already have potential customers. We will send you some ideas and tips with your starter pack on how you can develop your party plan business. There will be no sales targets to meet. You can spend a few hours a week working around children or another job. However, if you want to expand your business further, and have more time to do so, do consider expanding your starter pack as your business develops. Each time you place your order or as we introduce new toys to our range, maybe add a product for your stock to show potential customers.
